Gibson Pewter

Jonathan Gibson is a second generation pewterer. His shop, located in Historic Hillsborough Center, N.H. is open year round. Over 100 pieces of traditional and contemporary designs are available for sale. Each lead free piece is made with hands-on care, whether cast, hammered, or spun. Jonathan won the prestigious Stevens Metal Award at the 23rd Annual Juried Exhibit of the League of N.H. Craftsmen for his reproduction Lacemaker's Lamp in 2003.

The Gibson prize winning Fruit Bowl and Wood Grain Beaker were added to the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 1993. Catalogs are available upon request, or you can visit: WWW.gibsonpewter.com Visitors to the Gibson Pewter shop are welcome to watch work in progress in the 200 year old barn where Jon learned the craft from his father, Raymond, who founded the business in 1966.
