The French Difference
The Felix Vallé State Historic Site is operated by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. From March through November, you can tour the site Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5. Winter hours differ. The site includes the 1818 Felix Vallé House, the 1819 Dr. Benjamin Shaw house, and the 1792 Beauvais-Amoureux House, the only poteaux-en-terre structure in Ste. Genevieve currently open to the public.

The 1785 Louis Bolduc House Museum is owned and operated by The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the State of Missouri. From April 1 to November 1, it is open the same hours as the Vallé House; closed in winter. The Dames also operate the adjacent 1820 Bolduc-LeMeilleur House.
