The French Difference

The Felix Vallé State Historic Site is operated by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. From March through November, you can tour the site Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5. Winter hours differ. The site includes the 1818 Felix Vallé House, the 1819 Dr. Benjamin Shaw house, and the 1792 Beauvais-Amoureux House, the only poteaux-en-terre structure in Ste. Genevieve currently open to the public.
