Married with three children, she enjoys the ways of country life, tending to chickens and turkeys, planting vegetable and flower gardens, and working to keep traditions of old alive in the hearts of others.
Manis is a self-taught artist who loves finding beauty in simplest of everyday things, especially those things of earlier times. Her handmade works include 18th and 19th century style pincushions, dolls, and needle works.
