With proper care, her heirloom-quality work will last for generations.
Bachleda’s hooked rug skills have been used to create floor rugs, wall hangings, table runners, dolls, make-dos, and more. Her work is now displayed within private collections in the United States, Canada, and Europe. With her eye for color and commitment to enduring quality, she has been frequently consulted and commissioned to restore antique rugs for collectors and dealers.
From The Tweed Weasel Primitives, her folk art gallery inside a restored 19th-Century barn in Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania, she has expanded her original work to include clothing, primitive dolls and animals, fabric fruit and vegetables, penny rugs, painted floorcloths, Bachleda Tulipware pottery, primitive smalls, antiques, garden decor, and more.
