Joy Joyner Hall began carving professionally in 1991. She is a self-taught artist who specializes in Noah's Arks, Santas, Witches and other holiday figures.
Each of Hall's figures are handcarved from basswood or butternut using traditional hand tools. Each figure is also hand painted and finished. Because of the detailed nature of Hall's work, no two figures are exactly alike. Hall is always open to patron's suggestions and welcomes one of a kind commissions.
Hall is from Charlotte, North Carolina, but she now resides in Longmont, Colorado, with her husband, Tom, and son, Conner.
