Kim Sweet is a self-taught primitive folk artist who creates one-of-a-kind dolls and animals in her workshop in the historic town of Old Saybrook, on the Connecticut Shoreline. She has been focused on Santa Claus for about twenty years but has expands her work to include Rabbits at Eastertime. And just for Fun, at Halloween she makes witches inspired by her great, great grandfather's, E.E Dickinson Witch Hazel Company in Essex, Connecticut.
The entry deadline for the 2023 Directory of
Traditional American Crafts has passed. We are now processing entries and submitting
them to our jurors. We will contract entrants after the jurors have made ther decisions.
