Joanna Bolton developed an interest in art that began when she was very young. As a child, she spent much of her time drawing and modeling. This experience developed into a love for creating sculptures out of papier mache.
Her work is both whimsical and detailed in design. Her wish is to have each piece convey a message that is meaningful to its owner.
Bolton works at her home studio in Norridge, Illinois,
a suburb of Chicago, with her husband Bill and sheepdog Sonny. Her one-of-a-kind pieces are available at the Country Folk Art Festival in St. Charles, Illinois, Folk Works Gallery in Evanston
or can be ordered from her website www.joannabolton.com
